Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching: Deliver high-quality IELTS preparation lessons to students, ensuring that lessons align with the IELTS test format and are tailored to individual student needs.
2. Assessment: Conduct regular assessments, mock tests, and individualized feedback sessions to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.
3. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the IELTS curriculum, materials, and resources to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
4. Motivation and Support: Provide continuous motivation and support to students, inspiring them to achieve their target IELTS scores.
5. Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to students on their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, highlighting areas for improvement and offering strategies for success.
6. Track Record: Maintain records of student performance and progress, and communicate this information to relevant stakeholders when necessary.
7. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest IELTS examination trends, teaching methodologies, and assessment criteria to ensure the highest quality of instruction.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
– A master’s degree in TESOL is preferred.
– A proven IELTS overall band score of at least 7.5 or equivalent.
– Demonstrated experience in teaching IELTS preparation courses.
– Strong understanding of the IELTS examination format, scoring, and assessment criteria.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Dedication to student success and a passion for teaching.
– Effective classroom management skills.
– Certification in English language teaching (e.g., CELTA, TESOL, or equivalent) is a plus.
